The Vocational Service Director can assist our club contribute to our community in the following ways:

Vocational Awareness Information: By giving or arranging classification talks and arranging for tours of club member's businesses by club members and youth organisations, such as our Interact Clubs;

Vocational Awards: By recognising vocational excellence and high ethical standards, such as our  club recognising and awarding outstanding individuals within our community who have excelled at their duties (e.g. Most Courteous Taxi Driver, Best Police Officer etc.). 

Career Development: By using member's business or professional experience and contacts to advance employment opportunities, assisting in the development of apprenticeship programs and organizing career-planning programs in schools;

Vocation at Work: By assisting to generate new jobs within our local community; working with retirees; addressing drug, alcohol and literacy problems in the workplace; creating vocational opportunities for the disabled; developing and implementing HIV/AIDS education and policy; and promoting high ethical standards.
