Golden
News
Volume
16, Number 35 - Monday 24 February 2003
The official bulletin of the Rotary Club of Kowloon
Golden Mile is published
most Mondays and is distributed to all club members, District officials and other "friends of KGM". Winner "Best English Language Bulletin" in District 3450, 2001/2002 The Phantom returns:
Yes folks, rumours of my
demise have been greatly exaggerated. It's just that I've been travelling
in the USA for the past two weeks and, due to the time zone differences
and a very hectic schedule, it simply wasn't possible for me to send out
the Golden News.
Anyway I'm back but, since my desk is in such a mess, this is an abridged version of Golden News, however the regular version will be published next Monday. This Week's Meeting: Our guest speaker this week is Albert "Mr. Magic" Tam who will be speaking to us on "The Hong Kong Magician's Association". Milestones:
(Drum roll) Tomorrow, 25 February 2003, marks KGM's "Sweet 16th"
birthday.
Birthday greetings for 27 February to Dilip "Parma Ham" Parmanand who we suspect
is slightly older than "Sweet 16" and who shares his birthday with actress
Elizabeth Taylor, who is something like 16 in dog
years!
