Annual General Meeting:

KGM Club Secretary David "Party Dude" Harilela has given notice that the next AGM for the Club and the Company will take place during our regular club meeting on Wednesday 18 December 2002 at the Holiday Inn Golden Mile.

At this time, the election of Directors to serve on the incoming Board, who assume office on 1 July 2003, will take place.

Fellowship News:

We finally received a report from KGM Fellowship Director Miranda "King" Kong about the last fellowship at the HK Gold Coast Yacht Club two weeks ago but, frankly, I'm too scared to publish it. I'm concerned some of you may be operating heavy machinery, if you catch my drift.

Anyway, rumour has it that this month's fellowship will have something to do with Xmas (doh!), and it will take place on a Friday night, somewhere in SoHo and apparently you'll have to pay money to attend, but you'll definitely have loads of fun.

That's all we know, so far but, hey, it's still early days.

Members interested in attending this well documented event should contact Miranda by email and give her a false name like Rufus P. Dingleberry.

Special Event - Visit to SAA - Last Call:

Our old mate Vincent "Bone Bender" Lam has organised a visit to the animal sanctuary of the Society for Abandoned Animals ("SAA") in Yuen Long for Saturday 7 December 2002.

Complimentary transportation, graciously sponsored by Community Service Director Diana "Red Baron" Chou, will depart from the Holiday Inn Golden Mile at 2:00 p.m.

Members interested in attending this event should contact Vincent Lam by email or by telephone to 9045 6871.

Fund-Raising KGM Polio Plus Cookbook:

Our reserved but nonetheless playful President-Elect Patricia "Iron Lady" Blair (of the Blair Witch Project), and her faithful side-kick Sonya "Woo-Hoo" Wu (of the Wu Tang), have finally completed production of the new and improved KGM cookbook entitled "Dining In with Great Chefs of Hong Kong".

The price is only HK$188 per copy and this week we have an even nicer image of the cover on the KGM website.

Recipes, contributed by Hong Kong's leading chefs, include world renown exotic dishes such as "Fromage Sur Le Toast", "Filet Mignon Vache Fâchée", "Le Poisson et Pomme de Terre Anglais" and "Le Haagen-Daz Avec Le Sauce Chocolat".

For more information, contact Lady Patricia on telephone 9312 3606 or by email.

By the way, subject to the approval of our Fearless Leader President Nanu "Nanu" Lachman, KGM is ready to accept online orders by credit card. If and when Royal Assent is given, details will be sent to all members.

Community Service News:

The Lok Chi Association (樂智協會), a former beneficiary of funds from KGM, is holding the finals of their "Integration with Singing & Dancing" program from 2:00 p.m to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday 8 December 2002 at the Auditorium of Kwai Tsing Theatre.

KGM members and friends interested in attending this event as guests of the organisers should contact KGM Vice-President Silva Yeung by email.

Have you ever seen a flag but didn't know which country it represented. Check out Mooney's Flag Detective, which has a very cool flag search function which enables you to trace a flag by selecting it's basic design and narrowing it down from there.

Golden Smile:

Three dogs are sitting in the waiting room of a veterinarian and they start chatting.
